After being part of the 2018 BIME startup selection in Bilbao in early november, Soundwalkrs once again wowed the audience and the jury; this time at the AGORA NEXT, IT HOLDING and TELEFONICA OPEN FUTURE 2018 CHALLENGE held last Friday in the city of Palma de Mallorca.


Our companys CEO, Analucia LeCompte, presented the Soundwalkrs vision to internationalize, integrating to the travel market place and conquering the audience and the judges, receiving the award for best start up in the Early Stage Category.


This recognition is another step further in Soundwalkrs fund raising and commercial intentions in the European market. Rome, Prague, Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Lisbon, Amsterdam and Berlin are among the first cities to be chosen to facilitate our penetration within the growing tours and activities market.


Earlier last week, Soundwalkrs also took to the stage at the Tourism Innovation Challenge #Crucerossomostodos hosted by the Port of Cartagena at Cartagena´s Cruiseship Terminal. Other panel members included The Deputy minister of Tourism of Colombia, the Royal Caribbean , The head of the Cruise ship terminal and the president of Procolombia.

Furthermore, Soundwalkrs will also be participating in the finals of the BOOM MAKE IT HAPPEN 2018 organized by Emprende, the Colombian government institution devoted to innovation and entreprenerialship. Jorge Moises our COO will be pitching the judges in Bogotá. Finally the last event of the year will be the Tourism Tech Adventures of the UNWTO in Buenos Aires next week on the 12 of december.
